The hotel had friendly and helpful staff as well as comfortable and clean rooms at a great price. The breakfast had a good variety and the small pool was perfect for a cooling dip. the hotel was located in a local area with easy access to taxis and nearby restaurants.
The surrounding area could feel unsafe after dark, so taking a taxi at night was necessary. there was some construction on the road which made walking a bit difficult, but it didn't detract too much from the overall experience.

During my Christmas stay, I was delighted to find that the hotel offered complimentary breakfast and towels by the pool. the location was very convenient, with several tourist attractions within walking distance and plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop view of the city, which was amazing at sunset.
The hotel lacked character and was not located in the liveliest part of town, so transportation was required to get around. the pool area was not very clean and could have been better maintained.

Despite some minor language barriers, the staff were friendly and eager to assist with any requests. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had a nice view of the temple. The hotel also offered a late check-out, perfect for our flight. I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Shwe Yee and would recommend it.
